Our Purpose
This website is a bridge between Brooklyn College CIS students and the professional world.
Brooklyn College CIS Connect was conceived by Academic Program Specialist Fendja Larivaux, to be realized beginning in Fall 2025. Its mission is simple: make resources, opportunities, and information as easy to access as possible for students in computer and information science.
University resources are often scattered, outdated, or simply unknown to students. This site changes that. Whether you need study materials or career tools, Brooklyn College CIS Connect is here to help you find what you’re looking for—and take advantage of it.

Fendja Larivaux is an Academic Program Specialist, and the mind behind Brooklyn College CIS Connect. She is an Experienced Technical Program Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry, and a Master’s Degree focused in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration.
